This 2' x 3' oil painting, ‘Michael in the fuchsia dell’ is inspired by my favorite spot, the Fuchsia Dell, in Golden Gate park. A magic place with towering redwood and eucalyptus trees, it blooms all year round. It is filled with hummingbirds, bluebirds, robins, hawks, and many many angels. Some show their wings, and some are just glowy dots. I've seen Archangel Michael - with his purple aura - take many a stroll through this dell. I often watch the angels and pray here.
